Welcome aboard!
Green Thumb Theatre is pleased to announce two new members of the Green Thumb Family! Amy Lynn Strilchuk will be joining our team as Interim Tour & Education Manager later this fall, as Breanne Harmon heads off on maternity leave. We're excited to work with Amy over the coming months, and can't wait to meet Breanne's baby boy, whose expected debut is in late December.
Amy is an arts programmer, producer, and promoter who specializes in developing and marketing new Canadian theatre. Throughout her 10 year career in arts administration and management, Amy has proudly contributed to the artistic, audience, and/or financial growth at Alberta Theatre Projects, Arts Club Theatre Company, Ballet BC, Electric Company Theatre, and Gateway Theatre.
Amy is thrilled to join Green Thumb Theatre as the Interim Tour and Education Manager, and to build on the company’s strategies for distributing TYA within schools. Past Green Thumb projects include Assistant Directing Patrick McDonald on Ash Rizin’ (ATP co-production), and leading creative direction for company marketing materials with Markian Tarasiuk, through their agency The Art Left. Amy is also a board member of SpeakEasy Theatre, the Creative and Community Director of the Women and Words Foundation, and has her MA in Theatre from UBC.
