Still/Falling Cancellation Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic
Green Thumb Theatre has made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone the Spring 2020 BC tour of Still/Falling by Rachel Aberle. This includes all BC school touring and the one-week run at the Waterfront Theatre presented by Carousel Theatre for Young People. All schools who have booked the show through Green Thumb or ArtStarts in Schools will be contacted by Green Thumb's Tour Manager.
Our first priority is the health and safety of our youth audiences, educators, artists and staff, and as such we are unable to safely proceed in these uncertain times. Both Green Thumb Theatre and Carousel Theatre for Young People are collaborating to create an opportunity to present Still/Falling in a future season. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.
A bit about Still/Falling by Rachel Aberle:
Nina has a great life. She lovesher family, she does well in school, and her friends are awesome. But suddenly Nina starts feeling… off, and she finds herself slipping into a dark realityshe cannot understand, let alone articulate to the people around her. Still/Falling follows Nina as she tries to come to terms with what it means to struggle with anxiety and depression, and to rise above it with as much strength, and as few scars, as possible.
For more information or to book the show in 2021, please contact Green Thumb's Tour Manager, Aliya Griffin at touring@greenthumb.bc.ca
